A temporary increase in sensitivity to temperature, pressure and touch may occur. Increased sensitivity does not last longer than 1-2 days.
Teeth whitening usually does not change the color of teeth with fillings and other restorative materials, such as zirconia and ceramics.
Usually, cosmetic dentists recommend that their patients get veneers after reaching a certain age. This is because with growth, the position of the gum and the tooth changes, which in turn creates a gap between the veneers and the gums. It is extremely important that you follow your body's normal growth cycle and consult with your dentist about the options that dentistry offers.
A curious fact is that in women the growth of the jaws ends around the age of 17, and in men after the age of 20!
